Delhi Meri Jaan

Delhi, the capital of India, is situated in northern India and stands on the west bank of Yamuna River bounded by Uttar Pardesh and on the north, west and south by Haryana. Delhi is spread over an area of 1483 sq. kilometers, 216 meters above sea level and has a population of around 14 million.

The people of Delhi proudly call themselves as “Delhiites” (Delhi Meri Jaan)

The history speaks the importance and contribution of Delhi towards developing India as a country which has left its mark on the global map today. Delhi has the most effervescent history among other prominent cities in India.

Myself

Once a day, there is a time when I feel very suffocated... I don't know how I should write it here, I am still nervous as this is my first blog post.

I had a serious hearing problem at birth. By the age of 2-years, my parents were struggling to get me into speech therapy...

Today, I am 24-years-old and working with a top news website as a web designer. I am proud of the job I have and the salary I earn... but I want to achieve more.

Making friends has always been a big problem for me. From my days in school to this day in office, people don't want to know me or move away because of my hearing problem. There are times I don't know what to do...

To deal with things, I follow some simple rules: Don't bother about those, who don't bother about you. Always try and stay cool and do as much as you can at work. Don't show your negative feelings to others as people will then try and irritate you by saying negative things.

I love my dad, mom and my brother. I want to do as much as I can for them. We have always struggled, but we always stay very happy. That's something they have taught me and I think that's all I want to say in my first blog.
